This live-action musical remake is a new take on Disney`s classic tale of a young mermaid`s desires to explore the human world. Princess Ariel is a mermaid who dreams of exploring the human world. As she falls in love with a prince above-ground, she`s desperate enough to make a dangerous deal with sea witch Ursula. Ursula gives Ariel human legs in exchange for her beautiful voice, but the catch is: if the prince doesn`t kiss her within the next three days, Ariel is to be Ursula`s slave forever.
